Shocking. State of affairs today, you really can't own a nice house or work hard all your life to provide nice things for your family when some scum can take away in minutes what people have worked their entire lives for.

No I am no good in an serious accident because I am blind. Other minor accidents spilt tea etc I can cope with.southendpier said:

Other reports suggest the attackers are local and were demanding he opened the safe. Perhaps they knew he was a car dealer then, they knew he was at home hence the pizza ruse but did not appear to know or care that she was at home.
It was a pity that while she was hiding in the cupboard with her phone it did not have any batteries. So she and the child were very lucky indeed it could've been a lot worse. It must've been terrifying for the mother to know that her 12 week old baby may have been attacked while she hid in a cupboard.
