Tsunamis Hit Samoan
Discussion
I remember when the last one struck and all hell was breaking loose. On the news there was a report "We have all the water treatment chemicals, but nobody knows what to do with them, or the hazards". I had been travelling and was bloody skint and also had no current job. I thought "I'll do it" (As I'm qualified to) and got on the phone to Red Cross.
Of course they wanted my £10. They said they only use their own "staff". If they had got me there, I would have done it free of charge. (as the problem had been announced on the news, I assume RC didn't send one )
My offer was charity. Their business appears to be a partial hindrance of genuine charity.
I hope the level of fkups last time don't interfere with sorting it out.
