Wonder if this is going to be a piss boiler or a suck up to the MPs to make them be scene in a good light... I hoping for once the media are out of blood...

Dispatches: MPs, Planes and Gravy Trains is on C4 8pm - 9pm

'As the end of parliament's record-breaking 82-day summer recess approaches, journalist Alex Thomson investigates what is expected of MPs during this time. He explores publicly funded trips around the globe, and finds out whether elected representatives are being transparent in their actions and offering value for money following the expenses scandal in May'

Lets have some heads rolling.

Bet Winky will try and do a political broadcast tonight on C4 at 8-9pm just to be a spiteful git. Either that or Tories and Labour are not on it and its all a spin to make the Lib Dems and BNP look crap.... Well no more than usual.

(Note to mods)

Please leave it in lounge for a bit before moving into news and politics section... gives everyone chance to read it.

hehe

Some people are unfortunately unable to construct a reasonable argument, and therefore resort to pointing out mistakes which, in the grand scheme of things, do not matter. In most other cases, where people claim "they cannot read it", I assume they must be retarded as I can normally get by reading most poorly spelt posts.

Anyway that is for another thread which will be inevitably boring and pointless, and full of moronic pedantic fkwits.

Back on topic, it will be very interesting to see what excuses they trot out for any more expenses claims. I am sure the line "the public simply don't understand what it is like" will be trotted out again rolleyes

In all the media recently winky has been trying to defuse the expenses blame \ argument, by claiming that during the disclosure "democracy was suspended by the public" My guess is this will be his tactic as well as throwing in the odd "were working hard to rebuild the global economy" or "whilst the conservatives have been on holiday we've been . . . . "

I just popped it on for 30 seconds. Saw a fat fker (who I assume was on the gravy train) "dancing" with a Caribbean looking nubile and decided I could not cope with the impending stress this would cause me.

i like the way that the bankers broke no rules but were bked and then the government stepped in and stated new rules, even though they themselves set up a government body to make sure we didnt accept toxic product (how good were they). Yet they can spend what they want and the evil bankers help pay a st load of it in taxes.... something is wrong here, i wonder what it is?
