I would like this point clarified, because they keep saying how people on "low and middle incomes" are going to be better off.

From which one can infer, that people who are not on "low and middle incomes" would be milked.

Since income distribution can be interpreted in a variety of ways, statements like this are utterly meaningless. Please provide a number: The income at which you start paying. If you insist on being noncommittal, you may round up to the nearest £5000.

It is a fantastic photo, I never get tired of seeing it and it is good to read peoples reactions.

You expect clarification from a political party?
You poor, misguided innocent.

yes Oh I bet the Lib Dem press office would love that to be erased from existance.

Edit: And please don't just focus on the shim and the thing at the front. There's the Third from the Left, little Miss Blind Chipmonk. And also you have to notice there is a Child in that pic yikes

Well the median wage in 2008 was just shy of £25k, so I'd say low is £11k and middle £25k. What the Lib Dems may mean could be something else entirely but I suspect it'll be the top 1% of the working population in their sights rather than someone who is just scraping into the 40% tax bracket.
But some of their proposals (like a 3% local income tax to replace CT) would make someone scraping into the 40% tax band considerably worse off.
