Ignoring for one moment that this is, literally, the stuff that dreams are made of; isn't 15 months jail time a tad harsh?
The judge said in his summing up that the 15yr old admitted she instigated it, that it was consensual the whole time, and that the teach had glowing references too.
I guess it's a deterrent to other teachers?

Did they not have any English teachers|?In truth, she prayed on underage children. People would be up in arms if it was a HE and he only got 15 months.

Unfair advantage whether you are using it intentionally or not.
Although I have to say in my patch the number of fifteen year olds who are having regular sex with their parents tacit agreement are legion.

Certainly seems unfair next to the scrotes that go out and beat someone senseless while pissed up on a great night out in town and get a suspended 6 month.
