I believe in a mixed economy, I really do but the disproportionate, uncontrolled scale of the public sector is an absolute dead weight on economic growth.

The Liberal democrats can promise anything they like, they'll never actually have to do it. It would worry them if they did because they know it makes no sense. The only come up with these wacky ideas to get some publicity.
