A good actor, great dancer and someone who came across as a down to earth decent bloke, RIP.

How come we can't post jokes when people die any more?

Has my mother become a PH moderator...?!

Because a discussion forum is a little like a conversation...someone starts a chat about something and others wade in. If someone starts a chat about something sad in a way that suggests they may actually feel it is sad...you'd have to be a bit of a tool to dive in with a gag. Now, if someone came into your office telling dead people gags about Swayze then you'd be able to join in...or think they were a tool and stay quiet. See how it works?

I think your conversations must be less interesting than mine.

No doubt. Although there are lots of conversations you can have that don't involve jokes about people that died a few hours ago, told to people genuinely sorry the person has gone. So i think "less" is a relative term.

Bloody hell, there are 2 threads on this running in the TV and Films section, 1 in the Lounge and one on here, is there any I've missed? maybe one in GG because he owned a car.

RIP Patrick.

RIP Patrick you will be missed.

Of course he is one of many who die from cancer but like Farrah Fawcett we have heard of them. But to all those who have died form the dreaded C RIP.

I will remember his roles in
Point Break
Dirty Dancing
Road House
Ghost
