It's just been on radio 4 that his father, Gordon, is now apologising for the death of Alan Turing back in 1954!!!!!!

Now, whilst this is long overdue, I think Gordon is taking a leaf out of Derren's book and trying to divert our attention away from the real issue's of today. So, the question is, what's Gordon got up his sleeve that he doesn't want us to know???? (stupid question I know)

Gordon - do us all a favour and just go - leave the party tricks to your son..................

This Alan Turing thing annoys me. Firstly, it achieves nothing - nothing. Secondly, it is unfair to judge people from the 1950s by the standards of our time. Thirdly, why apologise for an incident in which you had no part of?

If Gordon Brown was any kind of man he'd just tell people "No, I'm not apologising, what on earth is the point?"

I'm still in a state of shock from reading the words "Brown" and "apologises" in the same sentence.
