WW3 Who's on who's side?

After a conversation with a friend, I wondered about WW3. It's going to be a war for resources obviously but who is going to ally with who against who? There may even be 3 sides to the war.
I thought and came up with this:
America:
USA, NATO, most European countries, Canada(?).
Communist:
China, North Korea
Russian(?):
Russia and other countries after quick invasion of old Warsaw Pact countries.
What's your idea?

I reckon it'll be Australia vs NZ with the Samoans playing a blinder somewhere in the middle I thought and came up with this:

China invade Russia, then Canada, which is annexed by the USA in return for military protection. Mars declares independance, but is ruthlessley crushed. All the black midgets have to fight all the white midgets, but the black midgets get the Vietnamese.

Left vs. Right. The left will be armed with eutopian ideas and letter writing campaigns along with an army of pro bono lawyers very accurately quoting legislation as to why the Right should give up. The Right will only have guns, the skill to use them, and lawyers too....the best kind, the ones you have to pay for....but ony if they bring their own guns and can shoot as well.

And Child Killer Got to say, as much fun as I'm having with the third, it's really missing something over the originals. Could be humour, could be too much wandering, not sure, it's just a lot less exciting and lacking in story content. Too much "go here, do this".The trigger is going to be India vs pakistan.
China's going to get involved to help pakistan (and it doesn't like India anyway). The US is going to get involved so it can raze pakistan to the ground and "sort afghanistan out". Israel will get involved as it and India (and Nepal I suppose) are the only non-muslim countries from Turkey through to Malaysia really and it will want to help contain the terrorist threat posed by pakistan too. And that's going to drag in everyone.

Not sure, I don't think they'd make the first move but would certainly be on opposite sides if something big kicked off and bomb each other back to the stone age.I don't think WW3 will be a European war with Europe either united or with neutrals and the rest on the same side.
