Thank God I don't need to go to London this week

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8221283....

Amazingly the BBC found someone who is going that actually has a job (although he does appear to be a secretary)

Ms Swift said they hoped to cause maximum disruption to whichever of the "dirty dozen" targets were selected, adding: "What they are doing is wrong and has to stop.

'Normal' people will be trying to earn a crust love. 'Normal' people neither care nor believe your Chicken Licken theories on plant food gas. There's nothing normal about the people organisisng this, you're a fringe group at best.

The police are to take a new softly softly approach - presumably this will involve handing out bars of soap rather than using detergent in the water cannons and distributing leaflets about psychological help for the deluded.

Climate Camper Dave Lewis, 31, explains why he will be there

I have always been concerned about climate change and felt I should do something proactive. I'm really looking forward to it - we will need to strike a balance because it is a serious issue, but should also be fun as well. I went to the last Climate Camp in Kent. It was a brilliant vibe. The heavy police presence made everyone feel close together. I booked time off work to come. I have my tent and sleeping bag packed and ready!

Mr Lewis is an office administration worker
Except this bloke.

They seem to be out of harms way out on the coomon - and the locals seem quite friendly too.

So, unless they leave a mess when they depart (which would be rather against their ethos I would think), I can't see what harm this particular protest might cause.

Hmmm...I'm having visions of me turning up at 1 in the morning and powersliding the Chimaera across the grass right through the middle of these fkers while they sit in a circle holding hands singing 'Khumbaya'.
