According to the papers this morning Prince Andrew is so good at golf he could take part on the pro tour. I wonder who paid for all his practice sessions and lessons......?

You did! I did! The bloody taxpayer did! We all paid for the lazy arsed, ginger-minger marrying, workshy parasite to wander round all day hitting little white balls! And don't tell me he's naturally talented, you would be to if you spent every waking hour on the links.

Errrrrrr......right kids?

You see, thats whats wrong with this fking country. Hoorays getting freebies from the top, chavs & pikeys getting freebies from the bottom, us taxing paying morons in the middle paying for it.

Prince Andrew gets a free car from Aston Martin because of the 'publicity', chavs get free cars on the Motability scheme "because of me asthma," = same fking difference.

This country makes me sick

Please note: I know that a lot of people on the Motability scheme really do need a car to get around and that most of them are not chavs. However a small percentage of them are work shy chavs who know how to work the system

And he served in the Falklands war in a combat role and was an Officer in the Royal Navy until the early 2000's. Again most of those appointments were of an operational nature until his last year or so when he was based in the MOD. He also has Civil list appointments and is a trade ambassador. I think He deserves a bit of slack!

He's a sponge, we know.
I watched a programme aboot him either this year or late last year. The amount of cash he uses for his travel costs and security seemed obscene. As well as his little 'side-deals'. He has done it for years and will continue to do it.

Not only did he serve in a combat role he was one of the helicopter pilots filmed flying into the smoke and flames and plucking burning troops from the sea when the RFAs got hit. Call him a sponger in front of some Welsh Guards and see how long you last.
You could also look at his Royal Navy career: Prince Andrew in the RN.

Workshy bugger eh? How dare he play golf etc etc

Don't the entire Royal family cost us all less than a quid a year in tax? What's the big deal?

He's royal, do you really expect him to get a proper job? I'd rather he play golf than behead people like the royals of old.

As someone said above, Andrew is not on the civil list. Also the costs you refer do not include security or travel I think. The security bill is £50millions I think (am remembering from that Airmiles Andy programme) and that itself doesn't include local security costs that are paid for by local councils. Some of this is from memory.

But just looking for Airmile Andy will bring up results.
I have never heard of the taxpayers alliance before, anyone heard of them? Lower taxes and less government...sounds good to mebiggrin
