What's happened to L.A.?

I was reading a Porsche thread where a contributor had replied to one of L.A.s posts, but the L.A. segment had been erased (redacted?), which seemed very odd, so I dug a little deeper finding another thread that he and I both contributed to, and noticed that he has been 'erased' everywhere... so then I took a look in the members directory, and.... he's vanished! So does anyone know what's happened here?...

You've missed out that he was also a world leading authority on all things engineering and automotive styling also

eh?, you do mean just a (his) post, not an entire thread?

anyway, what was with the comment about PH removing it(them) on the grounds that they didn't like it? Reading between the lines, it sounds like he has requested the entire removal of his contributions, including his username; its as if the spooks have been in and had a clean up... all very mysterious.
