That is a chilling insight into a lonely and twisted mind. Don't know what else to say.

BBC news - "On a website registered in his name, Sodini described years of rejection by women and his struggles with alcoholism. The site also chronicles, over a nine-month period, his plans to carry out a shooting."

George Sodini - "After the gym, I stopped at Shop N Save and got a fifth of vodka and a small bottle of Jack Daniels. I haven't had a drink since September 1, 1988, just over 20 years. It doesn't matter now, I need to use it to take the edge off of carrying out the exit plan. I will be taking some every now and then to get used to it and see if the alcohol effects will embolden me."

You hope that no one was reading his blog and could have prevented it.

Read that blog at work earlier before it disappeared. It's crazy the way he spoke about what he was doing as if it was just something on a todo list. From what I could tell it was all because he went for years being turned down by women.

I've spent most of my life being turned down by women and I hope I don't get that bitter about it later in life.

Best off not asking them, then you won't get turned down. thumbup

I noticed they're going on about how it's because guns are easy to get hold of in America. If you do decide to kill women in a gym, may I ask that you use two egg whisks. I would like to see the government try to ban the selling of egg whisks.

That's a sad fked up individual. Shame of it is, it could be most anybody. Problem is that when over here and you get feked off you write a letter, get drunk and maybe hit someone but in the US........

Too easy to get a weapon and take lots of innocents out.

Reads like your typical gone postal shooter. Chip on his shoulder, judgemental of those with success, major inferiority complex.

Sad.

He didn't even do mass murder right, teenagers - the laziest organisms in the universe - regularly score two or three times as high.

"August 3, 2009:
I took off today, Monday, and tomorrow to practice my routine and make sure it is well polished. I need to work out every detail, there is only one shot. Also I need to be completely immersed into something before I can be successful. I haven't had a drink since Friday at about 2:30. Total effort needed. Tomorrow is the big day.

Unfortunately I talked to my neighbor today, who is very positive and upbeat. I need to remain focused and absorbed COMPLETELY. Last time I tried this, in January, I chickened out. Lets see how this new approach works.

Maybe soon, I will see God and Jesus. At least that is what I was told. Eternal life does NOT depend on works. If it did, we will all be in hell. Christ paid for EVERY sin, so how can I or you be judged BY GOD for a sin when the penalty was ALREADY paid. People judge but that does not matter. I was reading the Bible and The Integrity of God beginning yesterday, because soon I will see them.

I will try not to add anymore entries because this computer clicking distracts me.

Also, any of the "Practice Papers" left on my coffee table I used or the notes in my gym bag can be published freely. I will not be embarased, because, well, I will be dead. Some people like to study that stuff. Maybe all this will shed insight on why some people just cannot make things happen in their life, which can potentially benefit others."
