For Fecks Sake.

How about teaching primary school kids that settling your differences with fisticuffs is not how citizens of our modern society are supposed to conduct themselves.

How about teaching them it's not OK to hit anyone!

Harman. The unacceptable face of blinkered feminism.

Whilst Gordon's away - Harriet plays.

Severe lack of leadership and control being observed in action at the moment.

The problem is a Brown problem rather than a Harman problem.

What. You mean he didn't have her shot in the car park as an example to the rest?

Quite a mistake, that.

Teaching boys not to hit girls is more a return to old fashioned values than modern PC idiocy.

It's good but it's not quite right. Teaching people not to hit people would be better.

She is refered to as "Miss" Harman in that news story but she's still married isn't she? Her husband hasn't had the courage yet to get a divorce?

I've also noticed her children's surname is Harman, not Dromey which should be her married name.

She has serious psychological problems.

Since the film was made in 1980 - and the joke has been told ninety billion times since then, it is now about as novel and as funny as being slapped in the face by a cricket bat.

What really bugs me is the fact that it has now appears to have become the default spelling (especially here on PH)of the word.

I don't have kids, so am not sure I am qualified to comment, but WTF are parents not teaching kids that belting everyone isn't an acceptable way to deal with things (in 99% of cases).

I accept that the role of a teacher is to instill some values into children whilst they are in their care, but shirley biggrin this sort of thing should really begin and end at home?

Or am I just being silly?
