ETA bombings - why do they put up with this crap.
Discussion
Watching the news last night about ETA bombing in Majorca.
My 13 y.o. daughter was on that street 24 hours before the bomb went off on holiday with her friends.
I understand the Spanish have made a number of high profile arrests etc with ETA, but I am amazed they put with this st.
It got me thinking, if anything had happened to my daughter I'd be over there shooting some basques.
wkers.

I have a friend who is a Basque. She and her husband are ETA targets because they campaign in local politics against them.
They have to check under their car every morning.
On the plus side they at least don't have to keep an eye out for the gun-toting swivel-eyed loon that would be the OP.They have to check under their car every morning.

I get the impression that the Spanish have been pretty effective agaisnt ETA - but it is still a bit st when people go on holiday and get blown up.
I don't think being blown up can ever be considered a good thing.johnfm said:

I suppose the Spanish government could shamefully surrender to ETA in the same way our government did to the IRA.
