The hole in the Ozone layer?

For nigh-on two decades we had to endure the liberal/eco/loser/lentalists bleeting on and on and on and on about it. It was going to kill us all! Kill us dead! In a way so horrible it would make our mums cry blood and then it would kill them too!

CFC's were banned and it became the poster boy of the Global Warming mentals.....

.....Then the last thing I heard was that since we stopped using CFC's it was healing itslef and getting smaller. And then Co2 took over as the Poster Boy of the retards.

Soooooo, is it fixed now?

Its still a big issue in Australia where there are very high levels of skin cancer because due to excessive radiation getting through.

I suspect that enough measures were made to stop it expanding further so was no longer a big news grabber so people moved on to the next big thing.

I'm 100% sure that the last thing I heard about it was that it had got smaller. And this was maybe 5 years ago.

it does seem to be slowly fixing itself since the montreal treaty

Surprised me that it was only in 1985 that we even realised that there was a "hole"

Since the decline of the acid house movement in the late 80's and early 90's, it's no longer an issue.

Looks like those lefty/liberal/lentilistsbiggrin did some good then? If as according to wiki, the ozone will be back at pre-1980 levels in 2065.

I still think that Farrah Fawcett was to blame for the hole.
