It's a cultural thing that's come from back home. The elderly people have found it hard to adjust to society in England.
Pouring sulphuric acid down someones throat isn't a "cultural" thing, it's evil, no matter where you're from. These (self appointed?) community leader types do spout some ste sometimes.Edited by BonzoGuinness on Thursday 23 July 18:06

Premeditated murder, attempted premeditated murder and honour killings deserve without exception the death penalty... only limp wristed liberals and labour idiots think otherwise...
The death penalty's for nazi morons, so there!C'mon. If we don't raise ourselves above the level of these people, we have no moral right to judge. And anyway, you can wish as hard as you like for the death penalty; it's never, ever coming back in this country for as long as the current system of government exists.
In short: if you want a system of justice based on violent retribution, move to Saudi Arabia. Or start a revolution.
