Have to say that I have no words to describe how I feel about this.

As I read the the report I notice that my mouth was wide open in shock/disgust/amazement/sadness/anger/incredulity/loadsofotherstuff...

Unreal!

I honestly believe that when the next Government moves into No.10/the Ministries they will find the floors covered in shredded documents and a post-it note stuck to the fridge saying

WE OWE YOU ONE PINT SEMI-SKIMMED
AND ONE COUNTRY FULLY SKIMMED

Roll on the General Election

It won't happen, but there really ought to be an investigation of whether this lot can be successfully prosecuted for malfeasance in public office. I want Brown in jail.

Anybody note the £155 Million for secure radio sets for Iraq and A-Stan?? How many sets have been double (or even treble) billed so some bent burocrat slimer in thwe MOD buying dept can fill his boots?
There is NO WAY that many can get lost on the battlefield...
Time we took the axe to the MOD civilians as there are more of them than fighting troops. Troops can organise what they want better than trouser polishing office jonnies...

F*cking disgusting. How the hell they continue to get away with it and remain unaccountable... everyone knows politics is a dirty game, but jesus there's a limit.

Anyone who votes labour in the next round of elections must be terminally hard of thinking.

I'd love to see the extent of their damage come round to bite them on the arse in legal action and so on, but it'll never happen, certainly not to the extent it would if it was in the private sector. May they rot in hell.

Doesn't seem to mention the NHS IT packages etc. nor the consultants and "spin doctors" (AKA professional liars who are not MPs) etc.

Until the people in this country take back power from the politicians this will continue. We are unable to force a general election, we are unable to influence decision making in parliament, we are even unable to force the removal of fraudulent criminals like Derrick Conway, Jacqui Smith, Tom Mc Nulty, Ed Balls, Yvette Cooper, Shahid Malik, Margaret Beckett, Hazel Blears, Uddin, Taylor etc. etc. etc.

The people, the electorate are toothless, just the way the politicians like it. The politicians do not fear us, and treat us with contempt. We need more direct democracy, the people need a direct say in the government, not a comedic proxy vote every 5 years, based on promises which are hardly ever followed through, manifestos are the best works of fiction currently.

If enough of the people want change they should have a means of forcing that change, not waiting for the one eyed incompetent clown in Downing street to call an election, we should be able to force a vote of no confidence, allowing the people to exercise their democratic right to vote, as feeble as it is in the UK currently. I despair at this state of affairs.

If I ran my household finances in the same manner Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling ran / runs the economy, I would be sleeping rough tonight.

I have had enough of these fking s - how many of us do you think it would take to storm Parliament and execute the front bench?

The only way we can change the state we are in is by a very violent uprising - I am convinced of this now.

Those fkers need sorting as well - if this was the Cons in power it would be headline news (after "Jordan fks Lampard", and the winners of "Strictly Come Poof") obviously.

£32bn

£32,000,000,000

Thirty-two BILLION pounds.

Divided by the 60,000,000 that is £533 each. Five hundred and thirty-three quid of YOUR money!

And nobody is running into the House of Commons shouting and screaming? Any memeber of the public actually DOING something to register their anger and outrage at this?

If not, then I am not surprised that they did it. They just know that the Brits will roll right over and take it as hard as they want to give it.

£21,000,000,000 of that is also your money, in the form of tax which the government hasn't received. That isn't quite as alarming a headline though.

Spot on here mate.

This is the reason our Government continually take the wee. If people don't stand up and register 'Genuine anger' then these guys will keep thinking they can get away with it!

I'm with you though. This is really bad , and yet not one media source is making a big deal out of it. You'd have thought this would be up there with the 'expenses' as far as Wee boilers go!

Well said - disgusted and fed up with this crock of ste in charge.

I think it would actually be more like £1000 per person once you found out the true number of tax payers.

Isn't it though!!!

It's not like the country stands still for a while. And especially with things the way they are, you'd think that maybe they should fix all teh problems they've caused first!

I think having those commie, fraudulent bds well away from the wheels of power is just what we need right now - I doubt we'd notice if they didn't come back tbh.

You know, that's actually a good point. Maybe we'll be able to fix more in 1 month, than those idiots have done in 12 years!
