whilst i dont like the abuse of the animals i applaud that they still allow such ridicuolus events in the days of health and safety. i thought there was just one of these runs but apparently theres loads which is a bit wrong. guy in the news says the spanish do it but dont drink whilst the brits and aussies are drunk doing it funnily enough.

But it's supposed to be dangerous!
What's the problem - he risked and lost. Good on a counrty that allows people to take risks - People die on the TT, at the Nurbergring, Japanese have their blow fish etc.
They'd never allow anything where the general population could die over here - you have to be a pro (like a boxer) to be allowed to take any risks.

Many Spanish towns have a Bull run during the local 'Fiestas'. In the village where my wife comes from (population a couple of thousand) they have a couple a year. They don't use the 650Kg fighting bulls though - they use steers. The horns are still long and pointy though, and running in front of them is a big adrenalin rush. I'll never forget my brother in law hurdling a six foot fence with one 6 inches from his chuff. I swear he didn't touch the fence on the way over!whilst i dont like the abuse of the animals i applaud that they still allow such ridicuolus events in the days of health and safety. i thought there was just one of these runs but apparently theres loads which is a bit wrong. guy in the news says the spanish do it but dont drink whilst the brits and aussies are drunk doing it funnily enough.

Many drink all night before an early morning run through the city's streets in front of bulls rushing to the bull ring.
