news of the world bugging phones
Discussion
Its not bugging of phones if I understand correctly, more a case of 'hacking into' their voicemail.
Which, if you are stupid enough as an MP (need I say more) or celebrity (comes with the territory) not to change or enable your PIN code then you really need shooting.
In essence, all you need to do is call up the persons mobile number, hit the hash key for example, and input the standard 4 digit PIN as set by default by the network. From there it is as if you have called 901/121 etc from your handset.
Naughty but incredibly easy.

Exactly, people are idiots and thes reporters are taking advantage of this. Not that this is right but it is hardly "hacking"Which, if you are stupid enough as an MP (need I say more) or celebrity (comes with the territory) not to change or enable your PIN code then you really need shooting.

Any chance that Murdoch has decided to change his allegiance recently?
No he's still in league with the Devil.Donning a tinfoil hat for a moment, could this be a shot across their bows after it has become clear they are willing to switch sides in an attempt to get an "Its the Sun Wot Won It" headline?
