Sounds great to me

Yet another reason to go no where near a plane as once Ryanair do it you can bet the big boys will follow

I just imagine standing class all the way to australia and can you imagine a shipping company not taking the cheapest option

The fact that we're talking about those pikeys is what matters to Ryanair.

They know their product is woeful and simply don't care what people think as long as they keep booking flights, which they will as long as they are still the cheapest.

I can't see how it would really increase passenger capacity numbers. The amount of floor-space taken up by a seat is at least as much personal space as I'd want round me if standing.

"Ryan Air has proposed a lot of other cost-cutting measures like charging passengers to use the bathroom during flights"

Hey Mike, why not get passengers to bring a gallon of kerosene with them to the airport which they can use to fill the wing tanks just as they board?

Even if true, the plane would be lighter and use less fuel. So cheaper fares. Sounds OK for short flights.

Yes but they tend not to suddenly plummet a few thousand feet with no warning whatsoever in normal operation while travelling at about 75% of the speed of sound while 5 miles up not even when mad bob is the bus driver

I should think the first bunch of injuries inflicted during turbulence, or a hard landing and the resulting class actions should put a lid on this one.

The way RyanAir joystick jockeys slam it down there will be a lot of people starting their holidays with no heads

hehe innit. It's a health and safety nightmare. You know what this guy is good at? Cheap publicity, every madcap scheme he dreams up, regardless of how viable it is, certainly guarantees media column inches. Cheaper than paying advertising companies, and far more effective.

Any publicity is good publicity.

It won't happen but he's is the papers and we're all discussing RyanAir again.

Less space when standing as the seat back will be much smaller.

Also, can't see how overhead baggage is going to work either cause you can't exactly stand up in the window seat normally. But then i figure that this won't be a hindrance to RyanAir.

What customers want won't make him any money. They are cheap and they get you there on time. Thats all I want when I'm on a flight thats two hours or so. We like to think that other airlines are far better but really we all know that ALL airlines are ste!

I can only say what I want.

I want a seat, I want to know which seat it is at the time I book.

I want an all inclusive price which includes a soft drink, a coffee, and a meal.

I want the staff to be pleasant and not hard face scouse bhes.

If I'm running late I want them to go out of the way to get me on the plane, or on the next plane for a nominal charge.
