What, in the name of everything that's right, is this about?

ODD - Oppositional Defiant Disorder

WTF?

Has anyone else heard of this 'disorder'? Whatever happened to 'do as you're bl00dy told or face the consequences'?

"Meaning whatever anyone in authority tells him to do, he does the opposite"

There you go then, if this is a genuine disorder, tell him to behave terribly and he should be good as gold.

Whatever anyone 'in authority' tells me to do - I do what I consider best after examining the situation with my own critical reasoning powers. Is there a name for this 'disorder'?

This boiled my piss this morning, too.

I am pretty sure that this child can quickly be cured of his "disorder" with a decent bit of parenting, the pikey fker.

Tell him not to jump off a bridge. That'll be the test to see if it's a real disorder or not.

It's any excsue with these people isn't it

The photographer needs a medal for making a tatoo'd mother and shaven headed oik look like a loving, picked on family, with a disability.

There is a disability for certain - she's got motherhood deficiency syndrome

Shooting him in the face with an UZI would surely cure him of this dreadful "disorder"?

I daresay a headline along those lines will occur at some point in his life.

Care in the fking community.

Dear little child you are hereby ordered by the local magistrates to not play on the fast lane of the M1 for the next two weeks, after which you will be instructed to avoid sharp objects or fires.

FFS 'he is a good kid really he just is a little contrary!'Said the mother.

No you stupid fking tattooed bint, it is a fking pathetic excuse to allow sts like this to do what ever they fking want without proper fking controls, while laughing in the face of the decent people of this country.
s like him should be castrated and the mother sterilised to ensure such nasty little mental illnesses if that is what the bks he has really, can't transfer to the future generations.

Funniest thing is bet he could come to terms and find a cure within himself pretty sharpish if someone came at him with a knife, or house bricks!

This was on GMTV this morning.

Labelling these delinquents with conditions does nothing but give them an excuse for behaving like a little toe rag.

And the Mum just had to add that 'he is a good boy really'!

Yeh a real good boy that smashes the windows of his own home, starts fires and steals cars!

Is she the one who says he just does as he likes?

Then let's beat the s**t out of him each time he misbehaves. A broken arm for the first offence should slow him down. Two broken arms for the second offence. And so on.

Yeh she described him as doing the exact opposite of what you tell him, thus Doctors have labelled him with this made up ODD.

Whilst I agree it's probably BS, parenting based on beating 7 shades out of kids every time they do something stupid is likely to create very, very bad people.

These kids are stuck in a cycle. They get born into st, raised in st, by parents who are undereducated and unmotivated. They don't give a toss and don't understand how to function properly in society. Then they're so messed up by the time they're 12, that we all write them off. It's very, very sad indeed. The only real chance of sorting these kids out is with decent social work, but the practicalities of that make the chances very remote.

What do you do, who knows?
