North Korea are planning to test a missile and launching it towards the West in the direction of Hawaii.

Surely Hawaii is East of North Korea??????

Is IS towards the West. It would be fired east, towards the West. The key is the capital letter.

I believe the US have "stuff" in and around South Korea and Japan that would stop anything fired at them very quickly after it leaves North Korean airspace. What with the constant threat to South Korea and the the threat of the Chinese and in the past the old ex-Soviet Eastern threat. They have it covered.

Must be more news scaremongering to take peoples minds away from the ineptitude of the government.

News reports the NKs are going to test another missile on the 4th of July. More publicity stunts. I am taking these clowns less serious everyday. I just feel sorry for the people that must live under such idiocy.

So the world was in uproar over the NK missile test... Where, exactly, is the condemnation for this?

One rule for them...?

Do you agree that other countries should be permitted deterrents, in the same way the US, UK, France, Russia and China are seemingly allowed without remit?

No, not in this case. We are still technically at war with them. They constantly threaten their southern bretheren and have a far more massive army to carry out said threat. Add to that, they are controlled by an absolutely totalitarian regime with no checks and balances. To compare them with those nations you mentioned is off, IMO. Even Communist China has a record of some reason and restraint. ETA: Stop trying to be so "fair" at all costs, that is not how the real world works....it is far tougher than that.

So despite being told they are the axis of evil, and you are either with us, or against us, you do not believe that they have a right to defend themselves? That's interesting.
