There was something about it that made me feel uneasy, coming from the President, on camera.
Can't put my finger on it, but my gut instinct tells me he shouldn't be in charge.
I agree, except it is my brain telling me the same thing. On a serious note, these PETA fools take the cake. Can't put my finger on it, but my gut instinct tells me he shouldn't be in charge.

It does remind me of something George W Bush would be doing. Can't put my finger on it, but my gut instinct tells me he shouldn't be in charge.
Followed by a Beavis and Butthead snigger.
Actually, if you dig a little deeper it would seem as if the media contacted PETA asking for their opinion, looking for a condemnation, rather than the other way round, and they replied:
"When the media began contacting us for a statement, we obliged, simply by saying that the president isn’t the Buddha and shouldn’t be expected to do everything right – if not for that, we would not have brought it up."
It's almost as if the media are trying to get people to say:
'Look at those nutters, haven't they got anything better to worry about?'
oh....

What about all those bugs we've all killed with our selection of cars and motorbikes? We must be on the PETA number one list for insect genocide...
There's a lot of front on mine too.Edited by bob1179 on Thursday 18th June 19:22

Folk's,
On my first trip to the US, I was asked if I had any special dietry needs. I had to say I am on a strict diet - if there was no dead animal on the plate then I am not interested.
Regards
Dave
I was asked if I was an "animal lover", to which I replied, "I prefer mine fried". Ugly looks that one brought. On my first trip to the US, I was asked if I had any special dietry needs. I had to say I am on a strict diet - if there was no dead animal on the plate then I am not interested.
