Switchoff of ALL analogue radio broadcasts in the UK confirmed at 2015.

So, if you are buying a car after about 2012, make sure it's fitted with a DAB radio.

not that I'm aware of Eric. I meant it as a solution to ND having nothing to listen to, as you can get cheapo transmitters for them and pick up the signal on the squawk box

They do get DAB/FM if you buy one of these. Not sure what IPOD models they are compatible with but mine works ok with my Classic 5 or is it a 4

It does need a good signal strength.

Very easy to set up a station...... you ain't seen me right.

Can't ever see analogue radio disappearing.
