No - granny was asking (literally) for it!http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,23739,2...
You lot are fking Nazis, she was 72 FFS! If a police officer cannot control a woman of that age without resorting to pumping her with 5000 volts he shouldn't be doing the job. Sure she was mouthy and resistant, that occasionally is going to happen when you are an officer. It's not desirable but what an over-reaction.
It was for speeding, a victimless crime.
He wants sacking.

Nah we shouldn't sack him we should make him watch while we take the contents of his 401k and wipe our arses on it before flushing it away. Then Half a dozen 6ft grandchildren should be let loose on the scum with bullwhips. If he survives that, hang the vermin old west style from a tree.... real slow.It was for speeding, a victimless crime.

Have you watched the video? She totally over reacted, she wouldn't calm down, was given plenty of opportunity of taking the 60 in a 45 ticket, and she continued to cuss him.It was for speeding, a victimless crime.

She over played the "I'm 72" as if it gives her some right to behave like a 5 year old, and if it gives her some right to speed. It doesn't. She was given plenty of warnings. Zap. Down you go bh.
Hopefully, the judge will open the case lawsuit against the cops with the definition of a "Frivolous Lawsuit".

So fking what? Being 72 doesnt make it magically OK to be a . She was pulled by a cop for speeding (as in- by a real human, not by a robot) and totally blew up at him. Looks like he gave her fair warning and played it by the book, while she was playing the Old Woman card just as some would play race/social position. She can mouth off all she likes, but I'll bet she treats officers with a bit more respect in future. Old people automatically get a level of reverence that completely undeserved in many cases. If Jade Goody was 72 I still wouldnt think any better of her.It was for speeding, a victimless crime.

She may well have overreacted, the public are like that. It is the officers duty to 'protect and serve' the public. Not fking electrocute them! Was she likely to be a threat to him or another member of the public at the time he zapped her? No, he should have just let her calm down and give her the ticket.
If you condone this behaviour from the bib I can only hope that you are never in such a position that you can wield any form of power beyond that of a keyboard.
