If, at the next General Election, you were faced with a choice between only these two parties, which would get your vote?

I'm astonished by how many people would vote BNP or allow them to come to power by not voting. Labour have done a lot of damage to this country it's true, but I could think of nothing worse than having an extremist party in power.

The country would tear itself apart under the BNP IMO

As, I think it was Norman Tebbit, said: "BNP is the Labour party with added racism". I couldn't possibly vote for either of them; their total lefty feckwottedness means that 'The country would tear itself apart' under either - as it is bginning to do now.

I will never, ever vote for either the Labour party or the BNP.

I would spoil my vote on the way to the docks.

Labour has itself to blame for the rise in popularity of the BNP; if it wasn't for their p155ing of of the general public with their control freakery of the honest and their soft ways with the less honest in society, then people wouldn't move to more extreme politics.

Yes, leave the country. A choice 'twixt Labour and the BNP is akin to rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

I assume that the reason you posted this poll is that you live in an area that previously elected Labour but there is a very good chance the BNP may challenge them...

In that situation I would move elsewhere

Same here, but after I had collected their re-settlement payment.

How do they decide who's 'British' though? In essence we are all derived from immirgrants somewhere down the line.
some sort of hold-up colour chart presuambly

how that will work with white people like me who are more "foreign" than most of the "darkies" in this country --

'Tis a difficult one, for sure. As one who would probably qualify as a 'darkie', I would however claim 'English' rights.

I suspect that I would have more to lose by voting BNP than most, but certainly can understand their point.

One thing I don't understand is a comment made by CMD on PMQ today that a democratic society should never allow fascist thugs to be voted in. Surely the whole point of a democracy is if that's what the people want then that's fine. You can't have a democracy of freedom to vote for anyone as long as that anyone is from a defined list... Its almost on par with the American ideal of freedom of speech illustrated towards the Dixie Chicks - freedom of speech should not extend to people who don't like GWB...

I was born in this country - my parents were not.
Here in the Black Country that makes me more foreign than lots of the Indian/pakistani/Yemeni/Carribean/African looking people around here.

ALthough not as foreign to me as the people I know who live in Herefordshire.... now they are different!

Can you have a fascist democracy? Seems like an oxymoron.
