Yesterday I thought he was well and truly fked - but I have also posted before not to underestimate his desire to hold on to the post and his ability to fight dirty and survive.

Believe it or not, he's hung on and I don't think there are going to be any challenges to him now.

Opinions?

If he doesn't care about how many Labour counillors have lost seats at home, he'll not be giving a moment's thought to circumstances 'overseas'.

He not arrogant and is the best man for the job! We know he is because he says he is.

But it's okay! Because he's not complacent either. He said so. Several times.

Look, he waited 8-9 years for this job, do you HONESTLY think he's going to give it up without being carried out of No.10 in a box?

It's a national disgrace. He constantly says he listens to the public but clearly he does not hear the call for him to go, deafening though it is.

Gordon doesn't give a st about anything other than ultimate power and control.

What's happening is that Labour MP's are looking at their own seats and its began to dawn on them that they will be out in the next election. No amount of loyalty will save Gordon from Labour MP's saving their own skins.

What the party has realised is that they can let Gordon lead them into the next election and be dogged with the problems during his reign or they could bring in someone new, doesn't matter who it is as long as they can blame it all on gordon. They are fighting for their survival.

What they are doing is positioning themselves to challenge the tories in the election after next. Or they could stay with Gordon and be exiled for 10 years out in the wilderness.

Brown's dangerous because he's not stood up there lying, while knowing the truth.

He's dangerous because he's so deluded, he genuinely doesn't see that any of the problems this country faces are down to him.

Maybe. But he isn't going anywhere.

Whatever else he is, he's a survivor.

He's starting to remind me of Bobby Mugabe' just denying there is a problem and refusing to step down while destroying the economy.
