HMMMmm she's Scottish and does bear a certain resemblance! Is Winky trying a Mrs Doubtfire tactic?

Photoshop or morph program from Winky to SB anyone?

It really wasn't about Susan Boyle though was it... It was about the way she was treated by the Mediastablishment(c). The way a seemingly perfectly, decent person can be abused and humiliated by relatively powerful people. On the broader picture it is an indictment of our so called 'society' and just how debased it really is.

As usual, Orwell had seen it coming.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prolefeed

Prolefeed is a Newspeak term in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. It was used to describe the deliberately superficial literature, movies and music that were produced by Prolesec, a section of the Ministry of Truth, to keep the "proles" (i.e., proletariat) content and to prevent them from becoming too knowledgeable. The ruling Party believes that too much knowledge could motivate the proles to rebel against them.

But she has been on telly before. The perfectly decent people were the dancers that won and have been overshadowed, a mixture of races, colours and ages that we all want in our society.

My point was way was it even raised, when there really is far more important issues.

Why not ask such a question? Is the media not open to scrutiny too?

Oh yes, but I switched over during the ad break to hear answers being given about a Susan Boyle question and I must confess I thought WTF are they asking about that when we have council and European elections today, along with a Govt falling apart at the seams, huge state debt that we'll be paying for over the next twenty years etc...

To be fair, about 90% of the time was spent discussing those other issues.
