Proof that Number 10 reads PH - someone was joking earlier in the week that Brown would appoint a celebrity cabinet in order to do something, anything, about his (un)popularity.

Cameron can look forward next June to saying "Sralan, you're fired."

I was hoping his first task would be firing Brown.

Browns bribed him with a peerage!

"Hey SurAlan you're a working class man of the people. Fancy a peerage? " rofl

"Lord Sugar of 'ackney".

What annoys me most about Sugar is the fact that he struggles to construct a sentence in English.

What type of example is that for enterprising folk?

Grrr.

what is the bloody point of this other than a bit of publicity to negate the crap going on right now....this bloke made his money in property did he not, the very thing that is crippling the country....

this role if it really is one needs to be given to someone that has taken an idea from the drawing board to reality and been successfull...

He made his first fortune from crappy pc's. Agree it looks like a desperate move by Winky. SAS becomes LAS so he gets something out of it. In the next apprentice presumably they will all line up and say "Good morning Lord Sugar" when the bearded one walks in?

You really couldn't make this stuff up...
What is it with Suralan?
Vast business empire of what?
I remember the old days when Amstrad made some truly appalling HiFi's and a computer that didn't compute most of the time.
I know Amstrad now make the most unreliable of the Sky+ Box manufacturing syndicate...
And what else? erm...humm?

What the hell does he know about modern global business?

LOL, I remember the 80's chavs, Amstrad HI-Fi's were the weapon of choice from their Gratton and Universal catalogues - bargain basement rubbish that failed within a few months.

Sugar telling us Brown will not resign.

He's gonna regret saying those things after today!

Because the short-term government will have to take him with them.

Unfortunately, it'll be a little harder to rescind his Lordship.
