According to the site, Labour has been illegally calling people with recorded messages on the other end.

Is this actually true? Anyone received a call like this?

Anyone know if it is indeed illegal?

It is also alleged that the ballot papers are folded over so you cannot see the minority parties.....I haven't been to vote yet so I don't know whether this is true or not.

Nothing would surprise me though tbh.

the clerk told me 'there are 17 candidates, only vote for one'.

that seems fair enough to me.

the paper was so long that it had three folds in it. UKIP clutching at straws. Where Labour cheats it will be with postal votes.

UKIP right down at the very, very bottom.

Euro paper was also folded into three parts
The parties were in alphabetical order. First on mine was BNP I think.

To be honest if you can't be trusted to unfold a piece of paper and vote for the party you prefer, I don't think your vote should count in any case.

Indeed. Next time, if UKIP wants to be at the top of the list, it should follow the example of plumbers and taxi firms across the land and rename itself 111111111AAAAAAUKIP.

I'm going to go vote after working. I still get the impression it is "whoever wins, we lose..."

Tempted to vote Tory to get Labour out, tempted to do something mad like vote UKIP just to screw with things. I might as well have a quick manifesto read of both while i am stuck here...

I could have voted for the "Roman Party - Ave !" of whom I am still struggling to find any genuine details.

Best I could trawl up is

Get Bracknell said:
The Roman Party. Ave! was formed by Jean–Louis Pascual from neighbouring Reading.

He was born in France and the name of his party refers to the phrase ‘When in Rome do as the Romans do’.

He believes people who come to Britain should become part of the community.
Which seems an excellent policy, but is that it ? I had a moment of clarity and ticked UKIP of course.

Not long back from voting (OH stayed to watch 'Stenders - Mrs Pankhurst, you wasted your time). Couldn't get my ballot paper into the Eurobox until a guy came along with a push stick!
Some pretty weird parties out there.
