I noticed on this morning's Torygraph that it was "Day 28" of the MP expenses scandal (or was it 27?).

Is the DT building up to something here? First they brought out the details, then have slowly worked their way up to more gory details and now MPs are falling like flies sprayed with Raid.

The question is, do the DT have a trump card to play to wrap up their exclusive? If so... what?

I think it's all going a bit off the boil. People are turning their backs on it more.....not hearing people chatting about it so much.

Maybe they will. It would certainly get a bit of election fury going.

What I am hearing more of is "they are all rotten". I'd put my best bet on a lot of side players getting a lot more votes.

I'm certainly going UKIP as CMD is Bliar with a blue tie and his party are in a similar ideological insipidness.

I reckon they are releasing the details as quickly as they can extract them from the raw data they got hold of.

No "plan" particularly. Although I expect they're going easy on a few "friends".

I thought I heard somewhere that they had the MEP expenses still to come, anyone know if this is true?

Dunno, but the MEP expenses would make the MP expenses scandal pale into insignificance!!!!

The boy Clegg will be unmasked as the abandoned love child of Gordon Brown and Patricia Hewitt and both double dipped on the child support for 18 years and the Telegraph is about to drop the bombshell? They were unaware that the lad in short trousers who squeaks out a couple of silly questions each Wednesday is really their long lost spawn Sebastian but he discovered their true identity years ago and in a fiendish plot to gain revenge has joined the Loony Libs and plans to unmask them but the Torygraph has got there first? It all makes sense now - Hewitts abrupt departure to the Antipodes, Browns lunacy...........

Aye, but I also would wager on them holding back / keeping a block-buster to go out on. Friday maybe scratchchin

Its a pity Blair apparently shredded all paperwork relating to his claims - how is that legal ?

Between him and the wide-mouthed frog (especially her) I would also bet they were in the top echelon of claimers.

Aint that the truth - although you may just as well replace the word 'expenses' with 'downright fraud', there's quite a few horror stories about the biggest gravy train this side of a big gravy train.

I heard a rumour that they were building up and saving the best until last.
