He being that one-eyed, slack-jawed, Darth Vader-breathing stroke victim Meltdoon McBroon and it being "I'm getting on with the job of running the country" or derivations thereof.

No you're not, you're fking destroying it (even more), your so-called friends and colleagues in Government don't want anything to do with you anymore, and nor do the general populus.

So, call an election and go and crawl back into your bothy you utter utter .

I guess you're going to have to wait until next June?

"Whatever it takes" or variations of it make me one step closer to becoming a murderer.

Hopefully he'll take the point that "whatever it takes" might just include resigning.

Well my lodger says quite seriously that Gordon Brown and the Labour party in general are doing a fine job - so there. I do not want to fall out with him however and not being particularly politically savvy can't be bothered to argue too much. I know I want this bunch out SOON though.

No, they'll just vote themselves a new leader and carry on messing things up.

They would find it very hard to change Prime Minister again without mandate from the electorate. It is one of the reasons Gordon Brown will not stand down until next May.

They'd find it hard but they'd still do it. Most of them are going to be losing their seats come the next general election so they have nothing to loose anyway.

There would be a very distinct possibility of the Monarch stepping in or civil unrest if the Labour Prime Minister was changed without an election. It is considered almost impossible for a new Labour leader to become Prime Minister if an election does not take place.

Just watched sky news, lots of talk of a leadership challenge if/when labour have poor euro results. Apparently the pretenders to his throne are already posturing!

Whatever happens, Labour are doomed at the next election.

Anyone considering challenging now for the leadership of Labour will have to be egotistical enough to think they can turn things around in 11 months, cute enough to take on the leadership for the long term expecting to lose an election next year and win the next one or stupid enough to take the job on for 11 months before being ousted by Labour in-fighting.

Either way, the likelyhood of someone smart and capable trying to become leader now is going to be low.

Well you would have to find a smart and capable MP first which is a big enough challenge as it is

I have absolutely no idea what this means.

Is it in foreign?

Should I vote BNP to prevent this kind of talk?

The BNP are all in favour of Celts - although I don't think many Celts are in favour of the BNP.

Well, his Party are despised, he is hated by the electorate, his reshuffle has been sabotaged by resignations and, if he were to look out his window, he'd see a bunch of protesting OAPs in their underpants......
