however no fraud investigations against any MP's in last 14 days....this is according to Private Eye.

The only good thing about this is the fresh new surge of MP's that'll hopefully not take the piss.

I think they'll come, it's early days yet. Most of the MPs expenses fiddling probably wouldn't secure a conviction as it was supposed to be a matter of personal integrity that they were relevant to the performance of their duties. This all helped by some pretty lax rules drafted by - themselves!

As for benefit fraud by Joe Public, if you devise a benefit someone will change their lifestyle or just lie to take advantage of it. Even when they get caught cheating the punishments handed down don't seem too onerous.
