G. Brown. Can you BELIEVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
CMD will be sure to bring it up shortly and have a good laugh.
He goes into hiding for nearly two weeks in bunker mode, re-emerges with the usual twaddle and empty rhetoric and then basically says that power will need to be wrested from his cold dead hands as there is nothing on this planet that will make him give up his position as he thinks he's the best man for the job - well Gordy, me old mucker, I hate to break this to you but you are the last remaining person who thinks that!

i knew they would do this kind of thing to get votes.....the coming months will see more interest in these party trick shows and more references to wasters...
saying this jordon was on top gear yesterday on the bbc advert channel and i think she was quite good...
That would be all very well, except it's not a good tactic at the moment.saying this jordon was on top gear yesterday on the bbc advert channel and i think she was quite good...
When Tony Blair was doing this kind of thing, the country was doing 'well' and people were feeling rosy. Seeing the PM apparently in touch with popular culture just made people feel better about the actor.
Now the country is down the sh*tter, people just look at the PM and think "why the hell aren't you spending your time running the country and sacking your criminal ministers instead of b*llocking on about that fat ugly b*tch from the telly?".
Whoever is advising Brown is either completely out of touch or has no interest in saving his skin.

Not only that, but T Blair had the looks and personality to carry it off. The PM for the People, hey! But G Brown does not. He's a miserable sod at the best of times, and to try to make him popular among the proles using these methods just grates. Now the country is down the sh*tter, people just look at the PM and think "why the hell aren't you spending your time running the country and sacking your criminal ministers instead of b*llocking on about that fat ugly b*tch from the telly?".
In any case, it was obvious this was a tactic he'd employ. More people would have voted in Britain's Got Talent the other night than will vote in the elections on Thursday. So if he can be seen to be "one of the people", it's supposed to be a good thing.
The problem is, a lot of people will look at this cheap trick and think "aw, Gordon's a nice chap really - I'll vote for his lot". Don't underestimate just how thick many people are in the UK these days. They'll vote for the most "popular" person as PM - Blair did it because he was smiley and nice and played guitar. Brown can't do that.
