Ok, so it's the mail,

But,

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1189191/Wo...

How stupid are these people!!!! The public sector is just full of nonse's!!!!!

Basically;

Woman's car in lifted off the road by council, yellow lines painted underneath, and then the woman is given a ticket!

Apparently her local GP needed to get involved and everything.

'Disgraceful': Mrs Ducker, pictured here with her dog, had to wait two months and involve her local GP to make the council waive its fines - which came to £2,240

I'm not usually a fan of LCs but surely they must have posted notices informing the neighbours that this was going to happen, the yellow lines I mean...? ooops,sorry just read the last bit of the report where the council admits to not informing residents..pillocks...

It was her MP.. Kate Hoey...not GP...unsurprisingly, the Mail's proof reading skills fall way below standard once again...

If it was put down exactly where it was isn't the car parked too close to a junction anyway, which is different offence?

Is it 15ft or 15 meters from a junction that you can park I forget. Seems that double yellows there were overdue anyway.

Nothing surprises me when it comes to parking enforcement in fking Lambeth; absolutely shocking incompetent retards the lot of them; the fking Council and scumbag, poorly trained mouth-breathing fking cretinous contractors.

My wife got one of those ccensoredksuckers sacked once LOL. This was the same tt that gave me a ticket the day I moved house into the borough, for stopping in the suspended bay that I had paid for to be suspended for the length of time it takes to enter the house and have a quick shufty around whilst the removers were waiting outside (all of 5 mins) despite the removers and me telling him. Appealed and over-turned.

We got him sacked for being a gobste some months later.

So in summary; Lambeth = sthole.

Steer clear.

Urine boiling on the radio this morning. Surrey County Council saying that they haven't got enough money for the Police and that they are going to have to lay off some of the plod.

Waverley Council is part of Surrey, which is where I am. My council tax has just gone up £300.00 & I'm guessing that its to pay for;

1.) Stupid signs that tell me to cut my engine in traffic queues as it might hurt the gerbils.
2.) The new logo for the council, which is alledged to have cost them £40,000.
3.) And of course, to close the cash desk at the council offices so if you do want to pay by cash or cheque you now can only do it in the morning.

But we can't spend it on coppers can we? I mean they might catch crooks or something...

They don't because most councils are run by non-elected knobs. Waste of time even voting in local elections, they all do the same thing once they get into power, spineless gits.
