traditional, british, christian values defended by the war heros?
attacks on chrisitan churches and a heroin epedemic is due to the rise of militant muslims?

I caught a bit of on TV, the prick was talking about just the Scottish, English and Welsh names on the war memorials because it was British people fighting to save Britain. Ignorant isn't a big enough word to use for him since "fighting for the British cause" were the Australians, Canadians, South Africans, Indians, Sri Lankans Burmese...etc the list goes on. I don't just mean forces from the Empire fighting around the world there were many in the front line in the European and North African campaigns, the Pacific, Malaya and Burma. Fighting side by side and dying side by side with "British" soldiers. Not forgetting the fact that many were born and raised here too. Immigration isn't a new thing it's been going on for thousands of years.

Little know fact - only about 1 in 10 of the British Army that fought in Burma and India was actually British. The majority were Indians, with quite a few West Africans, Gurkhas, Malays and even a few PolesGassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
