Just reported on Sky that a balloon has crashed near Stafford, could be nasty if it is one of the tourist trips that go from near Shugborough, as they can hold quite a few occupants.
16 passengers at a time if the one I have been doing ground crew for is anything to go by.Not heard anything more since this morning so keeping fingers crossed everyone
is safe

These balloons seem to go down an awful lot don't they?
Like most things that fly they do tend to follow every take off with a landing.....of some sorts....Seriously though, like most forms of aviation its only when something wrong happens that its in the news, I used to instruct parachuting and the centres alway recorded an increase in enquiries/bookings after there had been an incident reported.
Seems there might not have been a crash after all....
