European elections... I feel slightly ill. What a bunch of low life wasters. Trying to decide which is the least st. Any thoughts?

It's like deciding who should get the well-paid job and your options are Myra Hindley and Ian Huntley.

To vote will just perpetuate the current circus.

Don't waste it, spoil it. Write none of the above at the bottom of the list and tick that.

If you just don't vote all the system records is a lower turnout. If you return a spoiled paper it has to be counted as I spoiled paper and recorded as such. A more effective tactic I believe.

Yes, I considered this but then it still means those who vote the minority parties will have a bigger "say".

So a couple have been involved in financial scandals. That makes them worse than say, Nulab or the Tories? Not making excuses for them but if we eliminated them as an option because of that, we need to eliminate almost all parties. How did the UKIP leadership respond to the dodgy deals being exposed?

Like this:
The leader of the UK Independence party (Ukip), which wants to lead Britain out of the EU, has taken £2m of taxpayers' money in expenses and allowances as a member of the European Parliament, on top of his £64,000 a year salary.

Voting on the basis of the current expenses scandal is daft, there are far more important issues and none of the parties have escaped the scandal anyway.
Do a bit of research into what they stand for and vote for the party that you agree with most.

You're right there but do you vote for the minority party that you really prefer or the party that only partially represents what you want but stands a better chance of winning.

It's the European elections, one party winning is not important.
