I reckon she was chosen for her looks only. Whatver about her appearance, her performance on QT was less than stellar.
I guess her mind was elsewhere (a few days later the Telegraph released her list of unwarranted allowance claims).

He appearance on QT was cringe worthy, and her statements regarding the expenses and ‘suicide watches’ are woeful – not going to be remembered as a political heavyweight….

I thought so too. Although all MPs are feeling put upon at the moment, the Labour edifice of authority is severely undermined at the moment and it doesn't take much to obtain political capital from attacking them.

Nadine failed spectacularly that night on QT. Talk about failing to drive home the winning advantage.

I wasn't too impressed with her ability to stick to her "brief" on QT so debriefing her may not be terribly rewarding.

I hear she is currently separated from her husband - or so The Telegraph say - so it must be true.
