and nobody came.
What if none of us voted for any of em.
What would they do then?

On a similar note - I wonder what would happen if spoiled ballots outnumbered actual votes? Hard to claim it's voter apathy if everyone took the time to go to the booth and scrawled 'None of those useless fkers' across their ballot paper.

They'd bring out the old "The public aren't voting because they are content" line that Blair used.

And it is important to spoil your vote rather than just not vote.

They have to count the spoiled votes as a matter or record rather than non-voters just reduce the turn out figure.

Imagine if turn out was the highest for many years and the spoil count went through the roof - they might just get the message.

It the way they refer to spoled ballot papers as though a retard with a crayon drew puppies on it.
Not like a protest.

At the local elections in Bicester once I did scrawl "none of these wkers" across the ballot paper. Silly but it made me feel strangely happy. As has been said, far better to do that than not vote but it wouldn't affect the outcome.

Hmmm....I'm wondering if changing my name by deed-poll to "None of these Wnakers", and standing as independant in the forthcoming Bracknell by-election might have me romping home past the established candidates.

That being said, I'm not sure I'd want the job. Apparently, the basic salary is crap considering the hours, travelling and out-of-pocket expenses, and they've just cancelled the otherwise lucrative fringe benefit policy.

You think "Double dip" MacKay is going to apply for the Chiltern Hundreds? He's stated so far that he intends to stay.

I've seriously considering setting up an "Abstain Party" and getting a candidate in each seat.

Wonder how many votes I'd get?
