Seems reasonable.

We, the undersigned, believe that the best way to sort out the problems facing Britain and to restore trust in our political system is for a dissolution of Parliament and a general election so that people can pass their verdict on MPs’ behaviour at the ballot box.

Whats the point in an election? they're all bent as a nine bob note.

I vote the Queen runs the country untill we can find some honest politicians.

Waste of time. At best you end up with the lightweight and pretty talentless tories. Don't vote at all. It only encourages them. And if VERY few people vote I think there's something that constitutionally prevents a government being formed.

We're all sick of all of them anyway.

I would have agreed with you up until this afternoon when Scameron told his local parties to kick out their MP's if they had been on the make as well as much other stuff.

Yeah DC seems like a decent sort of person. That's good, but the job needs more than just that. I don't think the way it is works any more. For instance, I think most people think Vince Cable would be someone they'd like to see as a decision maker, but he never will be because Libdems will never be in power. There are others too who, for whatever reason, would obviously be at least basically trustworthy, plus possess some obvious ability as well. The guy in the white suit usually seems to say sensible stuff. And I'm sure all the parties including some of the Scottish and Welsh ones contain individuals who would work hard for us. There are probably a few people in local authorities worth having, and even certain individuals from non-political fields who would represent well.

I just don't think changing governing parties will bring many answers other than short term relief from the currently really unpleasant incumbents.

I was not that keen on Cameron before all this.
Hague seemed a much better prospect all round.
But over the last week or so Cameron has been very impressive.
Basically he has acted and he has led. And in doing so he has done the right thing.
Compare and contrast with the one eyed, mouth breathing Scottish stroke victim. Who has been mealey mouthed and only reacted when forced to, showing zero leadership.

Obviously the Brown Broadcasting Corporation are under-reporting Cameron. They are a gravy train organisation that will be one of his first targets when he comes to power.
