Anyone watch this? It's a shame the Tories don't hold (officially) UKIP's views on Europe. Yes, they'd have to boot out Ken Clarke, but I'm sure that they as a party would win even more support, and it would be great for the country as well.

And after watching Nigel Farage's youtube rant at Gordon Brown a while ago, I'm quite impressed with him as well.

They will get my vote at the Euro Elections.

Think our MPs are dishonest? They are rank amateurs when it comes to the EU (and the actual organisation itself of course, where money flows, to where, no-one knows).

yes Completely agree. The fact that no auditor will sign off the EU accounts says it all.

voted UKIP last time and will again.

Not as a protest vote, but as I agree with what they say.

Why do the party who want independence from Europe have representatives up for election to the European parliament?

Perhaps it's all those euro-expenses they can claim, since I hear it's even more corrupt than our lot. Probably helps to pay for their deposits.

I'm stunned.

This thread is five posts old and no-one has mentioned the schoolboy spelling mistake in the broadcast.

When the words were being flashed up on screen, they had two different spellings of Brussels. One of them had two 'L's.

Tsk. They've lost my vote.

Have any one year's EU accounts ever been signed off?

I suspect the answer is no.

I THOUGHT (but could well be wrong) that for a few years they were signed off, BUT for about the last 10-12 years they have not been signed off due to, uh, difficulties in reconciliation, or Fraud......
