They really are going through pain trying to realign their business aren't they? That's the 2nd tranche of 10,000 losses in 6 months (and I think they reduced 10,000 contractors last year as well.

£6bn Pensions deficit as well...Ouch!

I wish them luck but they've along way to come, I still shiver at the idea of having to call their customer services line, but maybe it's improved over the last 5 years or so?

The article refers to a further 15,000 job losses. That's a huge number in one hit, I feel sorry for the families affected by this.

Main problems are at GSU and the NHS contract is one the biggest. That's your money and mine.

If they had been in any way competent the situation would have been less critical. The writing was on the wall a long time ago.

In the three months ending March 2009 the net loss was 997 million pounds. If they hadn't paid for those celebrities to go for a walk up Kilimanjaro their loses would only have been 995 million pounds.

THE company that has the most appalling customer service record that I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
