I've just tuned in to BBC2, and there are three African blokes doing a cover version of "Save All Your Kisses for Me"

I'm pretty sure this isn't the BNP broadcast......

Blah, disappointingly unfunny.

Some hastily written pigs-at-the-trough crap, buying 2 CCTV cameras and boasting about lowering speed limits

For anyone who missed it...
Nick Griffin opened the broadcast looking as shifty as ever...he spoke about how his party is the party for the people [As long as they're indigenous white people of course]
Then some thug standing in the middle of a god-awful looking estate talked about how it had been transformed from an anti-social hell hole with the help of two, yes a whole TWO BNP funded CCTV cameras operated by the un-employable locals.
Then some local bike talked about how the BNP were the party for the people...[as long as they're white]
Then back to Nick Griffin who said something about being the party for the people.

Basically, they don't have any policies that they're willing to put in a party political broadcast...so they just talked about a couple of CCTV cameras being the answer to everything - great.

I thought the references to CCTV cameras was quite funny. Firstly, you had the councillor claiming credit for installing them on the estate and then you had Griffin saying he was against council surveillance using CCTV.

Talk about not having a clue!

"Nick Griffin yesterday branded Gurkhas "mercenaries" who should not be allowed to stay in Britain."

hehe - Yeah, forgot that bit.
Overall it was a highly ameturish broadcast...definitely not something you would ever expect to see on mainstream TV that's for sure.
What worries me is people voting for them as a protest vote- I don't think people are aware of exactly how extremist they really are!
They seem to be gaining a lot of kudos - which is very worrying.

An idea they pinched from new labour.

It worries me they may become the protest vote of choice.

But I'd love to see a BNP MP, just to see what stuff he claims on his expenses! White tunic, £240, white pointy hat, £60, lynching rope £50! laugh
