Norman Tebbit has suggested that voters who are sick of grasping parasitical politicians should send a firm message to all of the main political parties at the local and euro elections by snubbing them all and voting for the fringe parties. I think this makes a lot of sense.

I am sickened by both Labour and the Tories, both of whom are up to their collective necks in it but what can we do? One thing we can do is vote for neither but rather than not vote at all we can cast a positive vote against them by voting for one of the many fringe parties.

I'm not convinced that is such a bad thing. I disagree totally with what the BNP stands for but a big vote for them would be a real wake up call for the big 2. I don't mind if people vote communist or BNP or UKIP or Green or get behind one of the many local interest groups that stand or vote for an independent. The big 2 need to get the message that this behaviour is unacceptable and that if they don't sort it out quickly and transparently and cut out the cancer then they could get a repeat dose in the general election.

Look at what you have written carefully

The BNP should not do well out of this

WE should benefit from who we vote for and this is one of the problems with politics the only folk who benefit from who we vote for is who we vote for. WE get shat on almost every time

Vote for an independent - like Claire Short or George Galloway! It will probably cost us more (see report into MPs value for money) but the message will get to the mainstream cartels.

Hang on a minute - things may be bad, but they're not that bad.

I hasten to add that I chose those particular names for irony! If they came into my establishment I wouldn't even sell them a virus, to loosely quote Alex Ferguson.

I doubt any party, even with malice aforethought, could have done as much damage in the time Winky has had. It requires lots of imagination to have buggered up pensions and the finance sector as comprehensively as Winky managed.
