Clink

Marks & Spencer chiefs are heading for a showdown with campaigners over a £2 surcharge on bras sized DD and above.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/ar...

Anyway, more than a handful is a waste..............

(an appropriate picture, but people clicking the link at work might be a little shocked to see - trust that makes sense, so I've left it only as a link thumbup )

Thanks for keeping us aBreast of the situation. It's understandable that they feel the Knead to charge extra, what with so many companies going Bust. We're all feeling the Squeeze.

Bosom.

So why is this different to charging more for, say, adults' T-shirts when children's ones are a smaller size and so cost less? They use more fabric and scaffolding, so why not charge more for them?

True.

Can't help but feel they're milking these women though.

Do M&S also charge more for wide beam knickers? Or does buttock scaffolding come cheaper?!

Also, that saying it's wrong. What you mean is, anything more than a handful is very welcome.

I disagree. I think it's more like charging a surcharge for an XL shirt (or bigger), which I have seen a few online (but not highstreet) retailers doing.

Cheers

hey nobody MAKES you wear a bra, you could just swing free if you don't want to pay the extra. If they're that big it shouldn't be too long before you can just tuck em into your jeans then.... wink
