I suspect I'll be in the minority here, but I have little sympathy for this woman:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleea...
She reeks of guilt and frankly, given that she's lived in Dubai for nearly half her years, should be more wise to the laws of the country in which she resides.
I rather suspect also that a conviction "because he said so" is rather hard to bring about and I should imagine that the Telegraph has omitted some of the key details in order to give the story an approprate slant.
I hope she see's her boys again, because no one deserves a life sentence, but I cannot help but feel she's done wrong and now cannot accept the consequences.

Why anybody would want to live abroad under such an oppressive regime when we've got a perfectly good oppressive regime here is beyond me http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleea...

I'd hope that the trial would detail some fairly damning evidence of adultery, but given the previously publicised punishment for other similar "crimes" I doubt it. Winky wont of course do anything (no change there) for fear of upsetting anybody apart from the English
I lived and worked in the Emirates for many years, a great lifestyle if you enjoy non-stop piss-ups, red hot weather and fighting off beautiful, cheap prostitutes
The darker side however, is that if you fall foul of the locals in any way then you are royally fooked.
The locals are amongst the most decadent, immoral and hypocritical aholes you are likely to find anywhere in the world so be warned. Mind you, being a fluent Arabic speaker also helped, I once 'advised' one local young buck what his fate was likely to be if he persisted in pestering my GF - amazing how people react when you read them their horoscope in their own language!
Blackpool it aint

It was a mistake. Mrs Asbo went ballistic at me for writing the post and I subsequently rushed to press 'submit' before she could press 'delete'.
WTF!I'd suggest reeling in some slack from the leash, say 15 meters that way she'll not get further than the hallway.
No charge hth.

Nasty having her kids taken off her just for adultery. Shame the st parents in the UK don't suffer a similar fate. Still to live there she must

As for the story, I firmly believe the media are protecting the truth somewhat.
Regardless of the truth, she's only been shagging about and now her kids are taken from her. Yes it's bad but FFS taking her kids away, no wonder she's getting serious air-time I bet that decision is reversed soon.
ETA: It'll be a bit like the couple who were playing/shagging on the beach in ?Dubai, loads of fuss but the negative press will get it overturned, maybe.
Fancy placing a bet?

The Telegraph are clearly only telling her side of the story. So there's no mention of what actually caused the marriage breakdown (itchy belm etc). If she loses her kids it's only because her husband is playing the system, as I suspect he did when he rolled up with the police and found her "having her computer fixed" (itchy belm etc).
A dangerous place for the uninitiated, indeed, but she has been there 20 years. She should know better than to break the laws, so she'll have to face up to it now.
Of course she will come to the UK having contributed nothing here for all her working life and live off the soash and have Max Clifford representing her..........
What's the betting the "computer fix" was some form of "comprehensive back up!"
