Looks like they are all armed to the teeth. You have to wonder just how much firepower in necessary. Everyone is worried about gun control.

Then apply for a shotgun licence. Takes awhile and you will probably find you have to beef up your home security (to pass firearms officer inspection) and find somewhere for the safe but other than that its a doddle!I want a big gun.

How easy is it to obtain a license for a .22 rifle? Spent my childhood recreating WW11 battles with my Weirauch and hundreds of grey buckets (They're the Germans ). I think it might be quite relaxing to lie down in a field all day plinking some stuff.
Sadly, the urge to do this is not as strong as the urge to handle, oil and kiss an M16 or Uzi every day. I want something gangsta
As an aside a mate of mine was doing some private security work over in I-Raq back at the start of the war. He continually asked me to take a flight over there and play with some of his company's guns on their range; I was too scared to take him up on his offer, although it did sound fun.....
What is it about men and guns? Always loved 'em, always will.
One of the spin-off problems of owning firearms in the UK is the fact that minor things such as speeding convictions can eventually compromise keeping your licences.... If you value your sport then you have to live like a Saint (read: not get caught), watching for the Scameras takes on a whole new level, reacting to the local scrotes in a threatening way or defending yourself in any way that can lead to charges being laid....etc, etc.

Absolutely right.Any form of brush with Plod can cause you grief as a gun owner. Even worse is the prospect of malicious reporting of actions by disaffected parties, ex GFs or the husbands. Anyone can make up a story that you threatened them and it is the devils's own job to put things right. Coupled with that is the established principle that should you take the issue to court and win against plod, the judge will never award costs, so what ever the outcome the gun-owner pays the fees.
As for a phallic substitute, my ramrod has always given satisfactory service to the fair sex.

It's really stupid. The gun folk believe Obama is the devil and will tax ammo if he can't ban guns outright. It's all stupid, of course.
Not as stupid as you may think. Why target ammo for tax? It is well known that many in his inner circle are very anti-gun; their local voting histories have shown this.Saddle bum said:

I heard that the shortage was caused by the US Military no longing selling used brass on - they're binning it instead - and hence the impact on supply rather than demand?
I had not heard that theory, but it is an interesting one."During the last few decades many of the military arsenals were mothballed and the commercial factories filled much of their reduced need. Now, however, the military needs have grown dramatically while domestic production capabilities have not."
