Two women have been found dead in a north London hotel in what fire officials have described as a "chemical incident".
The bodies were discovered in a room at the Costello Hotel in Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, at about 1200 BST.
The bodies remain at the scene but the hotel has been evacuated and the road cordoned off, police said.
A police spokeswoman said: "Two woman are believed to have committed suicide by taking a noxious substance."

A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said: "We are treating this as a confirmed chemical incident.
"The hotel has been evacuated and a cordon implemented."
Fire crews said they did not know what substance was involved.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to Costello Palace Hotel, Seven Sisters Road, N4, after two people were found deceased.
"The bodies remain at the scene."
A replacement bus service on the Victoria Line was suspended but Tube services in the area are running.
